I had a really bad week, including putting down my sister's cat, my grandfather still in the hospital after surgery, my depression kicking itself into overdrive, fighting with my husband, etc. etc. I did eat poorly a few days this week. But I also ate well a few days. And I made better choices on the bad days than I normally did.

And I am not letting this crash my goals like I would have. Before I would have given up, been so mad at myself and complained that this was all crap. But I'm just going back to eating better again, and realizing that I didn't get fat in 1 day or even 1 week, and I'm not going to change all of those habits in 1 day or 1 week either!

I'll just keep plodding along, and that is OK.
263.0 lb Lost so far: 3.0 lb.    Still to go: 24.0 lb.    Diet followed poorly.

you are on the right track! the 1st thing you have to do is not beat yourself up. I have done all those things before and it doesn't help-i would just eat more. Kudos for realizing that it is going to take more than one day to lose the weight! Give yourself a pat on the back for choosing better choices on your "off track" days. And remember, you are NEVER alone. We have all been there at one time or another.(I still am) I am still fighting "demons" as I call them with my inner self :) Good luck to you and stay on the positive track!! You are at the right place for support!
