238.2 again, lol.

I ate crappy yesterday. It was a cheat day, and I feel like I blew it hehe. Wife is doing the lent thing, so we will likely eat a lot of cheese pizza's. Here in Bahrain, getting good pizza is next to impossible. Only a bunch of chain type places (Pizza Hut, Papa Johns). And the last few times have been pretty gross. Last night we tried Pizza Co., a chain out of Thailand, and they took gross to a new level. We had bad luck with them in the past, but tried again. Back to my issue, that lots of food that used to be good to me, are absolutely gross now. I suppose that is a good thing. The problem is, I get all wound up thinking I am getting something good, and it turns out it sucks. Anyway, yesterday is done. Lessons learned. I need to stick to Krispy Kreme, KFC, and McDonalds. Junk food you can count on!

I did have a highlight yesterday, and that was my 1st power walk since my injury in November, since surgery, and since my foot has healed. I went out and walked the neighborhood for 20 minutes, probably not even a mile. My limp is still there, but I can tell it is going away. Anyway, it felt good, and I enjoyed it immensely. The freedom and feeling like I am doing something healthy, it was nice. One of the many things we take for granted. I get excited getting suited up with ipod, shoes, shorts.

My foot feels fine today, I even feel some tightness in my calves from the walk.

Yesterday was a lazy day too other than the above, wife was in recovery mode from a hard partying night before. So we lounged and watched TV. I did a bunch of homework in the AM and early afternoon too. So it was not totally unproductive.

Today son has a baseball game, which I may make my 1st appearance! I cant recall if I have physio today or tomorrow, so that is the deciding factor. I have not been all year, its lots of walking, and in a dirt lot, not a good thing when your crippled in a boot.

Anyway, today looks good so far.

Glad to hear your healing is coming along...I crashed my motorcycle in September and it was December before I was walking without a limp...I didn't hurt myself as bad as you did, but having pain just walking sucks... With the new job, it will have me out of town more often so sticking to the diet will be harder...but I'll figure it out, just have to be more cautious when I am home... Good Luck buddy! Later.
