Still eating way too much crap. I tell myself I'm not going to eat certain things, but then when they're presented infront of me, I take it. I can't seem to fight the temptation. I'll even think to myself as I'm bringing that food closer and closer to my mouth that I shouldn't be eating it. My body is too accustomed to eating shit food.

Oh, and I only went to the gym once this week, pathetic. But I did quite a bit, was there for 2 hours. Did 15 mins @ 5 walking on the treadmill. 15 mins averaging 75 on the (sit down) bike. 15 mins on the eliptical average 190 strides. 15 mins @ 6.7 jogging on the treadmill and then 5 mins to cool down on the eliptical.
Going at 8 on the treadmill last week killed me too much. I hadnt gone to the gym in three months and I didn't work my way up to where I was before and totally overexerted myself. I'll have to work on pacing myself so my heart doesnt get past 190 again because it's really not supposed to get that high, and probably shouldn't given my weight and height ratio.
209.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 34.0 lb.    Diet followed N/A.
gaining 3.5 lb a week

You seem to know what all the right things are to do but are having difficulty doing them. Why dont you write a list of why you want to lose the weight. Think about what you want to look like. Write 5 reasons why you shouldnt be eating that crap. Basically reaffirm to yourself why you are doing this. Make your resolve so strong that you are invincible to temptation!!

Agree w/Juno. As for me, I have a deep family history of high blood pressure, high choleterol, excessive weight & diabetes. So my main purpose of losing weight, eating right & exercise is so hopefully I don't fall in the same catagory. When I'm around bad foods I just remind myself that this is the type of food that causes my family high bp/cholesterol and causes weight gain. And I deny eating it. Bottom line is if you truly have a solid purpose for losing weight, then resist food temptations becomes a little easier. Second, have a plan of attack for food. Don't leave yourself wide open for temptation. If you know you're gonna be around junk food, eat a healthy meal before you head out. That way you won't be hungry and can resist tempatation better. Last, I would say, don't hold back on exercise. Exercise at least 3 to 4 times a week. Bad food + lack of exercise = weight gain...ALWAYS! So hang there and keep it up. You'll do okay.

I find that even if I am full that temptation can still get to me. I would eat an eclair not because I was hungry but because it tastes so damn good. But it would certainly help if you are full. The best thing is to avoid temptation by removing it. Dont keep it in the house, dont buy it at the supermarket, tell your friends to keep it the hell away from you. You need to want to lose weight more than you want to give in to that craving. Remind yourself why you want to lose weight and they repeat that list to yourself in your head when something tempts you. Then feel kick-ass for resisting it!!
