Hello All!
I been gone for a while, I have gained 10 lbs and been ashamed to come back ;( I need some motivation. I get depressed and dont know what to do. I am desperate to get this weight off. I just hate myself most of the time, espically when I cheat and gain. Im back on the diet now.
340.0 lb Lost so far: 2.0 lb.    Still to go: 170.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 0.9 lb a week

Hey Stacey, Don't beat yourself up, we all do it, but it is so counterproductive. When I beat myself up, I just end up screwing up even worse. Give yourself permission to cheat once in a while. I had a hellof a weekend myself and gained a pound. I felt discouraged for a minute but then remembered how destructive those feelings can be for me. The more I beat myself up, the more I want to eat. Its a vicious circle, but we CAN break the cycle. Hang in there, you'll do great. Jeanne

Hi Stacey, it can be about timing. you fall off the wagon and then spend ages aware that you need to do something and when the time is right you start over. Sherlock is so right! You need to focus on the positive, you are back on track and there is plenty of support here to keep you there and help you pick up when you come to a low patch.

Thanks for the encouraging words. I needed them! I am so sick of being overweight. It really effects my whole life. I have a hard time walking, moving, I cant play with my kids like I would want. Im embarrased to be out in public and I dont want to embarras my kids by having the "fat" mom. I feel like my husband deserves better. I have gotten into a slump of overwhelming feelings ~ it sure has helped to get back on track and come back here for support. Thanks again!

Hi Stacey! You came back to your diet. At least you had the will to star over again and with that attitude, you will do it. We are all heare for you. Congrats.
