Hi
Yes, I agree. I am spending a LOT of money on fresh fruit and veggies (and organic brown rice- which is a great filler). SInce I am allergic to wheat/gluten I have to buy special gluten free oatmeal ($10/bag!) but it is great. My grocery bills have gone up - but my daughter is eating better too. The other problem is I find I can't just go to the grocery 1x a week bc the fresh stuff spoils so quickly. I go through a LOT of fruit - grapes and pears especially! But, it is so much better for my body...just not my checkbook! :-)

We have to buy a lot of different things in the beginning, but the cost goes down as we stock up on healthy foods. When the soups are on sale, I buy a few extra, and I try to eat the fruits and veggies that are in season.

I did not even know we could have soup in detox.. the frozen fruit idea sounds great. I could make a smoothie for breakfast out of that with some fat free yogurt.
