Ahhh I hope you feel better soon. One of my girlfriends had the same exact thing happen and all I can say is TAKE YOUR TIME. Don't rush lifting anything or moving around too quick. I just remembere a group of us walking like snails cause she really couldn't walk any faster. After recovery she was golden though!!! Take your time and get better, glad to have you back :-)

I hope you're feeling better. I've had my gallbladder removed and it was not a fun experience, but you should be back up and going in no time. The weight gain you had was probably from the fluid you were given. They load you up and then it seems to take a while to get rid of them. I hope you have a quick recovery. Good luck!!

Hang in there Sarah! I had my vsg in May and in June, I started experiencing the same pain that you are talking about only I thought it was that I had eaten something without chewing enough and stupidly waited 4 days before finally going into the dr and having it checked out. I ended up with emergency gall bladder surgery and was so dehydrated that I was in the hospital for a week being on constant fluids as well. I gained 20lbs in fluids!! Talk about a shock. It all came off pretty quickly in the next few weeks though. Just remind yourself that they probably pumped you with a lot of fluids as well and it is most likely just fluid retention. Heal up fast! :)
