So happy that is the weekend ... so sad that it is already almost 3:00 in the afternoon on Saturday!!! I slept, and slept, and slept and did not get out of bed until AFTER 9 am this morning!!! That has got to be some kind of a record!!! Felt great, other than my achy aging bones!! LOL!!!

Our son stopped by the Cancer Center last night on his way home from work ... thinking that we might be there. We were. It was very nice to see him. After Bob's radiation was done he suggested going to a near-by pizza joint where they have a great deal ... a GIANT piece of thin crust pizza (2 toppings) and a soda for $4.50!!! I had chicken & feta on mine ... it was delicious!!!

I'm just hanging out ... doing laundry ... did an hour and 18 minutes on the Elliptical while I watched As Good As It Gets ... I love that movie. No big plans this weekend. I'm not a football fan ... and though Bob wouldn't mind seeing the game it starts so late in the day that we are going to pass ... we both have to get up too early in the morning and don't want to be out late. Think of all the calories I'll save!!!

There is much to be grateful for ...

1. only 3 more weeks of radiation therapy remaining
2. hearing my husband tell me about his conversation with his radiation oncologist ... who wants him to stay on the hormone shots for 2 years ... he's isn't so sure about that ... telling the doctor that although he may be 56 years old he is madly in love with his wife
3. slowly ... oh so very slowly ... getting comfortable with my body and the scale
4. coffee!!!
5. a weekend ALONE with the love of my life in our humble abode

I hope all of you in the "snow belt" are doing okay ... it's cloudy and 40 degrees here in North Idaho where our snow pack is only 15% of normal for this time of the year ... strange winter!! Have a great weekend!!

How nice that your son popped in on you guys and you had a fun time out. The pizza sounds yummy (much better than Domino's, I'm sure)! LOL about getting up late - at 9am! That's not late! :) Only 3 more treatments - I like the sound of that! I just watched As Good as it Gets recently, too. Great movie. Have a great rest of the weekend, you love-birds, you!

Three more weeks ... not 3 more treatments!!! Still ... it is a very good thing!!! The pizza was most definitely better than Dominos ... I ADORE thin crust pizza!!

Amy ... 5 days a week ... kind of a long haul!! It has been good to go with him on Fridays ... he is doing so well with his attitude ... especially because I know he feels pretty icky these days. I sure hope I get another 20 years with him!!
