So I am in the Keto diet and it is all new to me. I have been on it for about 2 weeks now. What is the best advice for those that have tried Keto or are currently on a Keto diet? I put my food into my food diary today and I feel like I am taking in too many carbs. But I literally only feel like I am eating protein and fats. I don't get it!

Many of the foods we eat have more than just fat only, protein only or carbs only. I sometimes find it easier to key in what I'm thinking about eating as my meal first, then see how that fits in with my macros. That way I can adjust things before I eat if needed. Also, then sometimes it seems like I'm eating random things together, but if it helps me stay within guidelines, I don't mind. Also, I don't know if you do coffee/tea/cocoa, but I find if I do 30 oz of coffee with 2 Tbsp of heavy whipping cream and 2 Tbsp coconut oil as my first "meal" of the day that it satisfies me most of the day until dinnertime.

Also, you will find as you go along that you will naturally lean to making different choices. For instance, I love the Simple Truth Organic Baby Spring Mix salad greens (3 carbs, 1 fiber = 2 net carbs), but I also love the Simple Truth Organic Baby Spinach (3 carbs, 2 fiber = 1 net carb), so I often gravitate to using the spinach in my salads to help keep it lower carb. I realize 1 carb difference isn't a lot, but if you make swaps like that with several items at each meal, it can make a big difference meal by meal, day by day in the long run.
