I find it easier or maybe just more inspiring if I record what I eat ahead of time, then eat what I record. No surprises or land mines. That way I don't have to make a decision when I am truly hungry. My decision making capabilities are not at their best when I'm hungry and pilfering around in the cupboard or refrigerator. Also I look forward to what I have planned instead of dreading trying to find something healthful to eat that may not suit my appetite. Since I work at night I can stop at the grocer on the way home and get anything I need list in hand. I am especially enjoying fresh salads and vegies right now. I look at other peoples diet calendar for inspiration. Thanks Guys. good luck to all.

I also like doing it that way, wish I would have made up today's last night much easier on me.

I do that too! I've been known to log something, then see that I can have more (yay) or should have less (boo). Keeps me from regrets later!
