I'm happy to be recording a steady weight this week, after a week of dire weather. Well, the snow was pretty, and didn't last long. But I'm fed up with the constant rain and power cuts. Rain is not so heavy today, and it's supposed to stop tomorrow, horray! I'm very glad I got my new waterproof winter coat in the sales!

Wow, that's some snowfall. It's just fog and frost here - we've had the warmest winter for a decade, it's very disconcerting.

What a perfectly beautiful view on your terrace. Will the snow harm the palms? Is this Spain? Is that a fairy garden in the second photo? It looked like tiny furniture. LOL! Glad you are okay. I know how it is to lose power in bad weather. We lose it out here when the winds blow hard. It is from tree limbs on power lines ... ice, snow, etc.

Photos were taken last Wednesday, and waking up to snow was a big surprise 😀 It was the most snow here for nearly 40 years! I got the camera out quick, as it was already melting, and it had gone by late afternoon! I don't think the palms were bothered by it. The rain and wind that followed were awful and did a lot of damage, though our house is okay, but our phone is still out. Need to look into that, as the ADSL is fine.
