I LOVE lchf so I took a peek at your food diary....may I suggest, if you decide to try lc again, higher fat/much lower carb than what you've been doing? Good Luck in YOUR journey!

Good morning Celtic. Yep it's frustrating when the scale goes the wrong way! I agree with RCKC. If you are trying to lose wt then you need to aim for 15g of carbs or less in a 6 hr period and a lot of good fats. I aim for 10g carb. If you have trouble getting in enough fats, try having Fat Bombs for in between meals and Bullet Proof Coffee or Tea. They taste great and who knew that good fats would help you lose weight, especially after all of these years of being told the opposite? Have you looked at the FB page Wheat Belly Detox? Great people, awesome info and before & after pix as well. Good Luck you're on the right track.

All my carbs were veggie. I can't go lower I have been getting headaches and not feeling right. Now I will go back to what I did a few years ago when I lost the 350lbs. I felt good.

Have you tried Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous? It's a group that centers around an eating plan of no flour or sugar, measuring meals and 12-step recovery. It works well for some. Just a suggestion :)

From me ... who is doing really shitty on her diet right now. So take it for what it's worth ;)

Goodness, what type veg were you eating. I stay under 20 net and eat lots of veggies! good luck in whichever WOE you choose!

Low carb diets (induction period) usually start at 20 net carbs per day. I know if I go over 50 carbs per day I will go out of ketosis. Some people can eat double that and say in ketosis. I eat more veggies on a low carb diet than I normally do off diet. Good luck in whatever diet you do choose.

Rosa, yes the WB woe does start at 20g carbs per 6 hr period during detox. Luckily I had a minimal problems with the detox. I think it's because I had been working towards no grain before I got serious about it. To lose weight I had to drop to 10-12 carbs per 6 hrs. 1/4c Veg isn't much, but it's only till I get to the weight I need. The Food Addicts in Recovery Anonymous sounds similar to WB as far as lchf goes. I can see why Celtic was having difficulties losing. I hope the other way works better for her. I haven't tested to see what carb intake would take me out of Ketosis. This is all so interesting at least!
