VeggieJunkie's Journal, 11 December 2016

Good morning buddies,

I got up early and have a good start on housework.

After breakfast, I'll do a kickboxing video and Barre.

I still need to get packages ready to mail. Last night, I couldn't resist watching Rudolph and BOTH Frosty movies. I promise I'm a grown-up, LOL.

Breakfast- Bosc pear, Morningstar veggie sausage, water.

Have a great day!

Thanks! I fell in love with those glasses when we went to World Market in Florida last summer. I cry sometimes when I watch old Christmas movies, too...especially Rudolph.

Frosty was great but every year the get him into heat where he melts, you would think they would learn. LOL

Rudolph is great! I finally found a DVD with those older Xmas films via the UK. What are the round brown things on the plate? The glasses are beautiful. I do miss World Market. :((

Those must be the veggie sausages...they are in front of the pear. I'm so glad you found a vintage Christmas DVD 😄 I love World Market...wish they'd open one close to me.

Yeah, that place is like magic. LOL! I used to go into a trace from all the beautiful things. Plus, it smells so good in that store. Miss it. :(( Those sausages look good. Is it made from chickpeas and/or carrots?

Looks like a good breakfast. I really wanted veggie sausage for breakfast this morning. I went to 3 stores but alas none of them carry the Gardein sausages, only the Morningstar ones. I can't have those because they contain eggs. :-(...

My store isn't consistent with Gardein..really frustrating. I really like that brand, and always have the seven grain crispy tenders and crabless crab cakes in the freezer :)

@Arabella...I agree! I could spend an entire day in that store. The sausages are soy based. I don't see chickpeas or carrots listed :(

I know, the Gardein brand is not consistent across stores. I have found that Whole Foods has their own vegan brand of sausages which are pretty tasty but I rarely go to WF's. I love the World Market. I see they are having a big sale on their spices this week.

I rarely go to WF either. I like the store, but the one near me is a zoo and the parking lot is hard to get in and out of. Gee thanks..now I have to look at the sale at World Market :)
