It can be a vicious cycle can't it? Perhaps look at each "Holiday" as I way to do something physical and not let it revolve so much about what you eat. Christmas could be a walk with a friend... New Years could be spent sitting and watching the stars and then between then and Ground Hogs day you could spend some time purging your home of unused or unwanted items and get oraganized for Spring and Summer....see... find some things to do and focus on them. Just an idea.

Thanksgiving and Christmas are the only 2 holidays that jinks me. All those pies cakes cookies. Thanksgiving is the worst because we have 2 big dinners. One at my church and the other at My brother in laws, where the whole family brings every kind of desert you can think of, and they are all great cooks. Then we spend another 3 days there before coming back home and eat left overs and more desert. Christmas is done at my home. My hubby and both sons are diebetic so any desert I make are sugar free. But then again there is the dressing cranberry sauce. I do my sweet potatoes with SF syrup. I am making me hungry, need to shut up!

Holy crap, I forgot Arbor Day!!!! Thanks rhontique!!! I will certainly fix that! And Sweet Georgia Peaches, just your name has me drooling!!! Becky, I actually do purge the house of all the goodies after Christmas and New Years. My dh gives them to the homeless in NYC. I feel like it's a nice thing, but I might, single handedly, be adding to their problems! All kidding aside, I have been trying to do the best I can each day. I actually made a crustless ricotta spinach quiche yesterday. Very little carbs. And yep, we are humans Warren and we love our food....just need to control the lovin!!! :D
