I just realized that I have been a member here since July 2011. 5.5 years of struggle.
I lost the weight twice and gained it back. I suppose that I always tried to reach my goal as soon as possible without paying much attention to the balance required to keep it up. It takes a bit more than sheer will. Needs long term planning, and support.
I have to end this once and for all. As much as a quick result is desirable, I need to do this slowly. So I can keep it up. Maybe having my meals delivered will help.
I knew that Atkins would be the best option to lose weight, it always worked the best. However, there are many things that I miss with that diet, and maybe I am just not strong enough to give them up.
I am hoping counting calories would be a better alternative in the long run. I guess I will know soon enough.

My loss has been slow but very deliberate. It has been good. I am changing my life patterns, not just getting weight off.

Your weight loss is the goal. However you commitment to your goal is what's impressive. It says you will achieve. Keep strong, you will win, we can all see that through the strength of your commitment.
