Today is day 1 of induction phase for Atkins. The hardest part for me is that I love Coke, and also, going into the weekend, being at home. I'm going to give it my all though! I keep telling myself "I can do this for 2 weeks!"

Aj i know it is hard to give up the coke..I drink diet coke but still i have to force myself to drink my water..I am starting the h20 challenge to help me incorporate more water and cut down on the soda.Its tough but we are here if you need someone to spout off too when you have your coke withdrawels..lol

My NY resolution was to give up coke. I've drank almost a 12 pack a day for years and years. So far. . . .I've not had a coke this year. I am drinking only water as a supstitute with a couple of Hot cocoas. It has been hard and yes, I think of having a coke constantly but I am determined to do it!

well done ! i am the same with tea - had a huge headache to start with but i just have my one in the morning now. i too have joinged the h20 challenge see you there :)

You can have diet coke in phase 1 but need to add it as 1 of your 3 sweetners per day! Caution it can cause some to loose slowly.

I can't believe it, week 3 and I have not had a Coke. I have been drinking more Diet pop, which is terrible for you, but I need SOMETHING to get over my Cokeyness! ;o) I hope to decrease the amount of diet pop I'm consuming, but for now, I'm ok.
