Oh Boy Doctor visits. GRRRRR. my appointment was at 10:30 but was told to be 15 minutes early. So I sit there till 12:00 before called back, then sit there cold and naked for another half hour. It takes less than 15 minutes for the doctor to do her thing. I am still wondering why I have to be 15 minutes early when I had to wait a hour and a half before getting to the room. Why don't they just make the appointment for 15 minutes before the actual time of the appointment. I will never understand the way doctors do things.

Supposedly the early 15 min is to allow time for paperwork, insurance changes, etc. But I love it when they give me an 8:30 am appt and tell me to come 15 min early, but they don't open the doors till 8:30 -- and then they wonder why our blood pressure is high!!!

Lol my blood pressure was 110/70. so that is one issue I don't have. but I know doctors are busy, but my time is my time also. every thing is computerized to make things move faster, seems it just slows things down.

You're right about the computerization, SGP! My doctor made the comment that every time they added a new requirement or "benefit," it takes her longer to record everything, which she wouldn't mind if they also allowed time for it, but they don't! So it's not just the patients who are frustrated.
