Fell off the wagon hard! Before I started "keto" or low carbing it, my favorite dish in the whole world was Paella. I've searched endlessly for the perfect dish that I had years ago in some random street fair or anything similar...that crusty rice, savory goodness that you get from cooking seafood and sausage in a copper pan, it seriously haunts me that I can't find anything like it.

Well, this wasn't that, but it was fantastic, chicken, rice, andouille sausage, and some spanish chicharron on the side. Rice is painfully addictive...I know this was a one off and I'll be back on track soon enough, but its scary how mind altering carbs and sugar can be. A long time ago, I use to have a no gummi bear left behind policy...Fond memories.

I know some people have carb up days or the likes on Keto diets where they refeed maybe once a week, but I don't think that would ever work for me. The sugar/carbs makes me so sleepy that I practically lose a day to the onset drowsiness.

New day tomorrow, I'll deal with the repercussions of todays frivolity tomorrow :)
