The ads and recipes for pumpkin this and that have started to show up. I've seen various pumpkin pie and cheesecake recipes from different sources at least 3-4 times today. Some sound horrid (a low fat pumpkin cheesecake comes to mind) but it really makes me realize how the only way to have anything I can eat is to make it myself. Why don't restaurants have at least one desert available that doesn't have sugar in it? (Aside from the occasional cheese plate which always comes with bread/crackers and often a sweet like quince jelly.)
There are over 7 million people in the greater SF Bay Area, why isn't there at least one low carb/paleo/primal restaurant? I mean sure, I can have a caesar salad with meat in many places, but how about a good sugar free cheesecake that I don't have to back myself?
Note to self, it is obviously time to make yourself a cheesecake! Preferably pumpkin. Although maybe doing the paleo pancakes (2-3 Tbsp nut butter, 2-3 Tbsp pumpkin puree & 2 eggs) will do to stop your obvious pumpkin cravings.
