DAY 74 Ran the MCM marathon on Sunday. 26.2 awesome miles. According to my rough calculations, I must have burned somewhere between 4,500 to 6,000 calories that day. Six hours of running was an awful lot! Anyway, afterwards I had two servings of steak, the first red meat meal since beginning. I won't lie or pretend: it tasted delicious. I figure after running that far, I deserved it, and the body certainly won't mind after a day like that!
The interesting thing I note is that the meal was very salty, and as a result, I'm carrying about one to two pounds of water weight around.
