Rochellena's Journal, 27 October 2011

This is why I stop recording my entries. I have no will power, I indulge, and then I have to see my failure over and over. I wish I weren't me.

Do you have a work out routine? If you like to indulge think about how much longer your work out routine would have to be before you indulge on those cookies. If your trying to lose weight you have to be ready to burn the calories you consumed.

I just read your journal entry...and I can totally relate. Some days it takes absolutley every ounce of will power to not indulge. That's why I allow myself one day a week to just chow down. Lifestyle change isn't easy...but so worth it....hang in there :)

Hey Rochellena, Please do not be so hard on yourself. If it was easy... there would be no overweight people at all. We must face the reasons that trigger our responses to certain foods. I have found that I don't think about the cupcakes, brownies, chocolate chip cookies, ice cream as much...it is a learned skill...we have to learn how to eat the proper foods and guess what they taste pretty good too...so yes everyone slips and slips again and again don't beat your self up...Think about how far you have come and work on your mindset...this is a war and we may lose a few battle but lets win the war...Think about this...you deserve the life you want and if your weight puts limitations on your life then you need to change...you deserve the best and should only give your body the best so it will do the things you want it to do and look the way you want it to look...

We are the same person. I started 2 weeks ago and the first week was excellent, lost 4 pounds only to gain them back the following week! I have problems around my monthly time; just want to stuff my face. Oh well, back on the diet starting now.

I agree with Wingnut77, I need one cheat day a week to not overdo it all week long. I look forward to that day and knowing its there, its easier to say NO to bad stuff during the week, its never EASY, but it is easier! Good luck and keep with it!!!!
