Grrrr...

200 lbs is proving difficult to crack. This is the first month of the seven I've been dieting that I've gained weight, albeit, only three pounds. This month's number: 204.5

I've been walking 25-30 miles during the week but stopped that last week due to the cold weather. I'm still eating healthy (four Irish coffees at a sitting is healthy, right?), but am eating considerably more than I had in the first three months. Oh, well, I'm in control. My fate's in my hands. For the record, a few personal issues are taking their toll on the diet, too.

On the plus side, as of a few days ago, I am able to fit in 34" pants for the first time in many years, perhaps decades. This was a surprise. I guess the fat is shifting(?). I may have been as much as a 46" waist when I began the diet in May. My pants were a 40" waist size but had elastic in them so they may have ballooned another 4-6".

More as it develops...
