Todays topic MINI GOALS… .goooooooood morning fs….todays topic is about mini goals an why I think a lot of times people don’t succeed at sticking with a plan….when most people not everyone will come on fs….and not thinking will put in how much they want to lose….and that’s fine an dandy….but if your like me….an your probably not…I have 100 pounds to work off….so ….for me to stay motivated….i break down that 100 pounds into 20-30 pound increments….that way it doesn’t seem like such a lotta weight to work off….and its easier to stay motivated and to achieve my goal…because the more you lose….the harder it becomes to keep loosing it….or that’s what I have heard over an over on here…so for me to stick with it….doing mini goals seem to work best….im half way to my next reset of my mini goal…my goal for myself is to get the other 15 pounds off by the end of the month….and its gonna be close….but for me that’s a challenge in its self…the chocolate is gone from the house….the neighbor came over yesterday and was glad to take the bag of pork rinds….i know deep down it was for the good….if I want to achieve my goal and I do….not any food left in the house that isnt on my meal plan to eat…no temptations to cause me not to succeed…except me giving in to temptation when I go to walmart…as for weighing this morning I did get on the scales and im close to yesterday weigh in…knowing that still being on my if beast challenge of eating one meal an fasting for 23….that my weight from going for a bike ride should be down another pound or more im hoping…and it needs to be for me to hit my goal for the end of the month…as I said…its gonna be really close for me to hit the goal that I have set for myself…but one I think I can hit….im actually thinking I can hit my finally goal weight in 6 months from the end of this month….but right now that’s all just ifs an maybes….as long as I keep focus and on track…keep the sugar….the salty food….and stick with whats working for me at this time….then I think its all possible…I do know that for me fasting works better then anything I have ever tried…like anything…its not for everyone…but for someone my size…and my activity level…its working very good….if I wasn’t riding my bike…I would still be loosing weight…but just not as much…..so…that’s the reason mini goals work for me….i have to close as its getting time to get on my riding bibs on and get ready to head out on my bike…I plan on leaving house by 445am…an should be back about 6am…that should be a good 10 mile ride….i hate not having a speedometer that keeps track of my rides…hopefully I can hit walmart today before it gets to hot ….so….see you all in a while..thanks for stoppin by…have a great one….

update when i left the house i was at 316.8...i just recorded with at 316.2..i was hopin it would be in the 315 and its close...i did just alittle over an hour...my energy level was maxed out...not sure how far..guessing 9-10 miles maybe farther...feels good to be home an sitting down..lol..first mile was finding the sweet spot in the saddle...of all places not to have enough fat...my butt is lacking flab..even with 2 pairs of riding shorts on for padding..just isnt enough...well gonna close this..an get hydrated again..breakfast-lunch is at 10 and that still 4 hours from now..so im sure il be ready for it...

Sometimes I think Walmart is slow checking people out on purpose! Don't fall for corporate marketing schemes! You're tougher than you think!

That is something that has been helpful for me as well. Initially my goal was 50 lbs which is prohibitively large, but 5 percent is not so bad. Going from a total couch potato to a gym rat is not realistic, but walking four time a week is realistic. That has seemed to help me.
