Ok, here I am again.

It's been a few years since I've been on Fat Secret and I've gained 25 pounds! What happened? Life happened, and I didn't handle it very well.
In the last four years my husband and I have lived in three major cities. Along the way my mother died unexpectedly, and then I lost my sweet dog to cancer. I don't handle change very well and needless to say, there has been lots of change.

I realized that I am an emotional eater (and drinker!), but I just didn't care. I think I was in denial and was really hurting, so I was in a sort of survival mode. A big excuse? Probably. But it is what it is.

What is important now is that I feel better. I'm moving forward and feel ready to commit to me again. I'm not great at writing journal entries...its hard for me to put myself out there, but I've decided that I need to try something different and see what happens. The same goes for tracking my food. I'm not great at that, but I know that is the key to my success! So here it goes...day 1...June first!

Support here for being honest with yourself. When I started tracking is when I found more inner resolve to make my changes. Hope it offers you something promising as well.
