Had a wonderful family meal out last night. Sky high calories but I tried the low carb choices (sort of). For starters I had Stornoway Black Pudding, deep fried in batter, with strips of crispy bacon and a fried egg on top and a small salad on the side. My main course was Gammon Steak, topped with cheese, a pineapple slice, Bacon and two fried eggs. Served with chips (French Fries) and mixed veg. Sweet was meringue, whipped cream, ice cream, toffee sauce and crumbled Funsized Cadburies Crunchie. I had two pints of beer and three "Balvenie". So today it is back on the straight and narrow. The VERY straight and narrow. My weight this morning is better forgotten. Suffice to say, it was a Whooosh, but up the way. Probably still digesting half of last night's consumption.

We all need a special meal sometimes. You will soon lose it again with going straight back on your normal diet. Glad you had a great night out.

Sounds lovely - Stornaway black pudding has to the best ever. Don't forget that with that and the gammon you're probably retaining some water as it's all quite salty. There will be a whoosh as long as you keep at it. Have a great weekend, my friend

HI Jocko-Sounds like a fab night out - and it won't take you long to get back to normal service. Try not to beat yourself up about the upward whoosh, it will be downward in no time. Hope it is sunny in your world and the weekend is a good one.
