I can't seem to get enough protein, at the most I get 40% a day. I can't stand protein mixes and would rather do it with food. I'm losing weight but always feeling hungry....any suggestions?

Nuts are a good source of protein and easy to carry and store for mid morning or afternoon snacks. You can also add more beans to your diet to get a second source of protein during a meal besides meats and cheese. A lot of times when I feel hungry between meal a glass of water will fill the void for me and take away the hungry feeling.

I'm a fan of Greek yogurt, cottage cheese and edamame.

I eat eggs for breakfast. I ditched the carbs and it helped me get over feeling hungry. I eat fish or chicken with my luncheon salad everyday. For now I am trying to loose weight, so I eat as much fish as I can. its lower in calorie so I can eat more of it. I don't feel hungry, but I might be mentally ignoring it if I am. I'm pretty impressed with the results of moving away from carbs. Not sure it's for everyone. I don't snack in between meals, unless my blood sugar drops, then I have to take in some carb, usually an orange.

It may sound opposite, but eat small amount of fats with your protein - avocado, almonds, olive oil, grassfed butter. Fats help you feel full and metabolize well wiht protein.

1/2 of a cup of beans per day will fill you up - they are full of fiber and have a resistant starch that allows only half their caloric value to be absorbed by the body. They are stated to have a lower glycemic load, are also are a source of protein. Use Beano until the body adjusts to eating them daily. Also try coconut oil.
