I'm so sorry! Sometimes these things happen. It depends really on how well you followed the diet and also how you interpreted the diet in the first place. Just remember, it's not your fault! Dieting is tough. Don't let anyone get you down. Skinny people like to pretend that they really accomplished something when they may actually eat the same things and do no exercise. It depends on your metabolism. Try focusing on methods for increased metabolism :-). Good luck!
