First day gone by... not bad. Despite the book saying that you wouldn't be hungry, I was. Strange that a meal plan that only gives you something like 500 calories for the most of the day would say you wouldn't be hungry. It wasn't a pain though, and I know that by keeping blood sugar levels constant, cravings are lessened. No cravings = good control. Dinner came and it actually seemed like a lot of food. Maybe I didn't measure properly. I'll have to watch that, but I feel fine today. I haven't even completely eaten my breakfast yet. Based upon other books I've read, I'll space meals out as evenly as possible. I think there was too much of a break in the afternoon. I think it was nearly 4 hours with nothing. Halfway through I was looking for something so I ended up pushing the schedule by about half an hour the rest of the day.
Summary.. no major complaints and the fact there is a schedule makes life easier for me.

It sounds like you're doing great! Don't be too surprised about the low calorie count. Remember in the book, Dr. Ian mentions that don't count calories, just eat when you're hungry. The fruits and vegetables do a great job of keeping you filled up, hydrated and cleansed!
