wyolady's Journal, 29 February 2016

Today I joined a group and a challenge. I know the only person who can make my life better is me... not the donut down the hall, and not the girl scout cookies in the kitchen pantry! I started this with the goal being the smallest I can remember being in my adult life - 175lbs, but after just a few days of journaling and being supported by all of you I truly believe that I can be a healthy weight 140(per my doc) - versus Morbidly Obese. I am a short person, and inside my size 3x there is a short, skinny person just waiting to come out.

I just want to thank all of you for being there. Who would have thought that just seeing that someone supported me would make such a profound impact. Thank you to all of the FS community for letting me be a part of you.

Im short also 5"3 and there is short, healthy, skinny girl waiting to come out.

I agree with this! I'm 5'1" myself so I understand how you feel. You can definitely reach a healthy weight and I'll be cheering you on!

Oh yes, it can be done. I'm 5 ft so I know a little extra weight goes a long way but you can and will do this. Patience and consistency. Here's to the healthiest you!
