I've been back at the gym for almost two weeks now. I'm sore lol but it feels good. I feel like I'm finally going in the right direction. Weight loss is such a mental journey too. I was thinking back back to all the times I've lost weight before. Once I was doing so well and lost probably close to 60 lbs. I was almost under the 200 mark. But then I started binge eating again and the weight came back on. This time around I have to be more aware of my emotions and what triggers me to over eat. It is so disheartening to lose so much weight and gain it all plus some back! That was almost 8 years ago and now I'm finally going to lose the weight again.

I think many of us here can relate to this story. It's important that you never give up on yourself - and you are here trying once more, that says a lot.

Guilty here. Seems like we have to find our own individual answers as to why we regain and how to stop the cycle. Good for you that you are tackling the issue again! I have to say that with each failure I've learned a little more.

I believe many of the members here have been on and off this journey many times. I sure have. I have felt the disappointment, frustration of allowing myself for putting the weight back on. Sadly, it took a painful medical issue last summer to get me back on the train again. I am glad it did because it was the wake up call to me to show what the future has in store for me unless I made some changes in my eating and weight. I agree with Trackin64 about learning from the past and using that knowledge to keep you on your journey. Anyway, You have taken the first steps to getting back to "losing ways" by coming here and using this site. Good luck
