First leg of our journey is done!! We are now in Seattle where we will spend the night and catch a very early flight out tomorrow morning!! Cindy, I will indeed wave as we fly over Arizona. On our way back we actually layover in Phoenix ... but I imagine that is quite a distance from where you are. It is about a 2 1/2 hour drive from our home to the airport so those early morning flights can be killers for us. We decided this time, rather than spending the night before near the airport we'd do the short jaunt to Seattle the day before ... don't know if it is better or not but it is different!! Blah, blah, blah ... I think I am blathering at this point. Sorry guys.

Regardless ... I'm excited and can hardly wait to put my feet on Mexican soil tomorrow. The air always smells so different!! We'll get settled into our hotel, stock up on groceries (we have a small kitchen in our room at the resort), and then head out to one of our favorite places to eat in PV ... with GRANDE, very tasty, margaritas ... one of our traditions!!

Oh I almost forgot to tell you. We are sitting at the airport and someone we thought we knew walked by that we haven't seen in a couple of years. I thought it looked like her but wasn't sure. Turns out she was flying stand-by and they called her name!! We stood right in front of her and she didn't recognize me!! So funny. To me I look just the same as I always have ... just not quite so large. So I asked Bob ... do I look THAT DIFFERENT? He just smiled and said "yes." When I see people I haven't seen in a while they always ask, "how did you do it?" I always tell them the same thing ... eat less and move more ... keep track of my calories and move my body. Only took me most of my adult life to figure out there wasn't any magic ... no way I could ever really eat whatever I wanted and lose weight. No magic pill. Just my own decisions. Amazing.

I bet it felt wonderful not to be recognized! People we see every day may not notice our changes, but it feels so good when people we haven't seen in a while do. Have fun! Make sure you take a few "big sombrero" pics like I did in pretend-Mexico. LOL

What a nice reward to experience on your vacation -- the compliment about your weight loss! Don't you just love how people ask that question "How did you do it?" As if you took a magic pill or something! Have a nice trip! We want to hear all about it -- don't we - Buddies!
