RubyRedSox's Journal, 10 September 2011

I'm down a pound and still waiting. Tia had a really rough night. It took a while for them to get her pain down (from her lupus and fibro)and she's sleeping now. As of an hour ago she's finally dilated to 1 centimeter so it could be a long day. Hopefully with her professional team, they'll be able to shorten delivery. I haven't heard how her blood pressure is yet. She'll call after she wakes I was told.

As for me, I've been keeping myself busy getting ready for inspection and then leaving after that to be with her.

Well, back to work.

Hope everyone is having a really great weekend!!

♥Ruby

Another pound down and almost another day down waiting for further news! I do hope you're taking some time to take care of Ruby! Tia seems to be in good hands at the hospital. I'm sure they're doing everything possible to ensure the best possible care for Tia and Lilly. How are you planning to get to Seattle? Please be careful! I'm sending love, hugs, and prayers to all of you!

Oh hey Pam. I'm not at all happy about what they're doing to my daughter at the hospital. It comes down to the type of insurance she has (state). They want her to birth because then they only have to keep her 24hr then they send her home vs having a c section. I spoke to her on the phone and she can barely talk they have her on narcotics and she's so exhausted from it all. They should of taken the baby hours ago because of her condition. ANYWAY, I have someone driving me to Seattle. It's all arranged but I can't leave until Tuesday and I'll be staying with my daughter and helping as best I can. Thank you Pam for everything. Love ya Pam!!! ♥♥♥

I'm sorry, Ruby! I should have realized that Tia's care was dictated by her insurance coverage. I agree, those doctors should have delivered that baby by c-section long before now. Going through an induced labor and taking narcotics is not good for Tia or Lilly. I know you're terribly worried, but try to hang in there Grandma!
