I saw the foot surgeon yesterday. Bad disease in my right foot. No surgery.
He would like me to try new orthotics and if that doesn't help then injections. I will just have to manage the pain as best I can. The other issue which wasn't touched on, of course, was wt loss. the less my feet have to carry the happier they will be. So it is time to get down to business.

I have maintained my wt this winter. Adding some walking to my 4-5 days of water aerobics. Now I really need to lose some wt.

I started yesterday with a giant pan of sauteed veggies and added some soba noodles. today I cooked brown rice, wild rice, black lentils and quinoa. Added to saauteed veg and had a big bowl of it for supper. Breakfast was yogurt and granola. lunch was a small salad of kale with some carrots and some chicken and had a banana when I got home til I could make food for supper.

I think I can lose a # a week, maybe more but that is my goal.

Ideally I need to get as close to 150 as I can.

I can do this!
