I had a very unusual feeling day today. I kept forgetting stuff (more than normal) and felt kind of in a mental fog. My calories were lower than normal yesterday, I don't know if that was it or not. Today is day 5, but the first two days carbs were around 25 - 30 and I've lowered them within the last couple of days.

I just ate lunch and feel a little better. . . will keep this monitored and see how it goes. Not turning back though!

What your feeling is 'Keto Flu'. Your body is transitioning from a glycosis (glucose/sugar based fuel) or ketosis (Ketone based fuel). It's very common and sometimes unnerving for those who have never done Keto (LC/HF) before. It will pass on it's own, but looking at your daily calories right now show only 474 and THAT is definitely not enough calories for the day. You may not be hungry but you still need to eat. The hunger sensation is muted while in ketosis. I myself don't really have a hunger drive like I used to when I was eating a standard american diet. Aim for a 65/30/5 split for Fats/Proteins/Carbs and get your calories up to 1250 to 1500. There'll be days when we just can't eat due to work, life, travel, etc.. as well as we would like but we try and not make that (low calorie) habit.

I used the calories needed calculator on here at the bottom of your intake page I am supposed to try for 1700 a day... rarely happens usually about 1200 ish I found the print your week in review button today. that will be super handy

i was not eating enough i was eating 1200 calories and gain 10 lbs so i talk to someone and they said i have to eat 2000 calories to lose weight then a week later go down to 1900 then i will lose 1 lb per week started a diet on jan 2 got 4 lbs gone

Congratulations on your determination. I'm on day ten. I didn't have the "keto flu," as it's called, but I do struggle with the psychological effects of no longer using food, especially sweets and other carbs, to treat feelings. My roughest day emotionally was late yesterday and into today. I just want to pull the covers over my head and go to sleep. I find I do much better if I consistently take my supplements, which I haven't done in a couple days. If you aren't taking any, I'd encourage you to do some research to find out what you need. Again, congrats!
