Still keeping a steady weight. Still doing Crossfit 3-4 times a week. Last week we did a lot of strength and tested our maxes on some movements. A lot of the movements I have never maxed out on before, but I made some really good gains in the back squat and deadlift departments. Those are my favorite movements so I'm really happy those increased.

Definitely on the grumpy side today though. Finally was able to get a massage last night, but I was so tense that I'm super sore this morning. Also, this mornings workout was called "the 12 days of Christmas" and was a very difficult, challenging workout. Basically you had 12 different exercises, that you had to do, kind of like the song. For example, the first movement was just doing one SDLHP, the next round you had to do another SDLHP and two thrusters, the third round you had to do a SDLHP, two thrusters, and three push presses.. and so on and so forth until you finish the 12 rounds. The other movements were 4 power cleans, 5 power snatch, 6 KB swings, 7 pull ups, 8 toes to bar, 9 box jumps, 10 wall balls, 11 burpees and 12 lunges. It took me a total of 34 minutes to do, and was honestly probably one of the more challenging workouts I've completed. Halfway through I definitely felt like I couldn't breathe, and also I gracefully slammed my shin into the box during one of the box jumps, so I'll have a splendid bruise. That, plus the long workday I have today, and just being exhausted in general, just makes me very grumpy. Usually I feel really good after a workout, but today I just feel drained.

Awesome work !! We did the 12 days of Christmas today too, slightly different line-up, but still...I nearly died, so I feel your pain, except I can't do box jumps, I'm too fat, so I just do step-ups...less dangerous. LOL. And now I am grumpy and exhausted too. Have a Happy Holiday.
