March 13, 2011. If I lose one pound a week, I will reach my goal in March of 2011! That seems like so far away. I had wanted to set up some short term goals and thought I'd use the one pound/week thing to see where a "reasonable" point would be. Now it just seems like so much... so far away. Maybe it's hormones, or maybe DH being away, but now I'm really bummed. It makes me want to re-evaluate for 2 pounds/week, though I know from past experience that that's not realistic for me. Slow and steady wins the race. I didn't gain the weight in 6 months, and I shouldn't expect to lose it in 6 months. It's a lifestyle change, not an 18-month diet. I know what to tell myself, but I wish I was as good at taking advice as I am at giving it!
