Carbs are not your friend. Cut back on your pasta and breads intake. Wrap everything in a tortilla instead. Big difference. Checking your Thyroid is a step in the right direction also.

Carbs are yummy but not good. I am at the same place, I have to cut back on carbs to get going in the right direction. Although thyroid issues do not help either.

You are only in two modes, fat burning, or fat storing...once you get those incoming, you are fat storing until those hormone levels drop back down (several hours later)...

Nice watch for something to blame it on, and how to possibly fix it. http://www.dietdoctor.com/member/presentations/wortmansa

My Dr. and I are fighting this thyroid together. So far, the new med and dose have at least put the brakes on the weight gain. We'll see how long it takes for the scale to fall the other way. Changes in the diet helps to.

Usually it's not a thyroid thing. I'd start with eating half of what you'd really like to eat, and eliminate snacks (hidden calories, as most people seem to forget to record them).

If you are exercising along with dieting, you could be losing inches but gaining weight bc you are gaining muscle with your exercising. Keep doing what you are doing and you will start seeing results.
