Day 2 ~ no sugar... I sound like I'm writing from a lost island. Under 20 carbs yesterday, down 2 pounds of bloat from the sugar. The INTENSE cravings and idea that I might starve at work before 5pm, quit at about 3:30 yesterday. I was over my 1400 calories but saw where it's a problem and made a couple of adjustments today. I need to go shopping and broaden my work foods and do some prep this weekend so next week is easier. I know that with Keto I shouldn't really be hungry but my fat/protein/carb ratio was great yesterday.
157.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 23.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

ah man ive tried that, when i get below 50 carbs a day its a win, but man the cravings are intense. so i ballbark for under 100 carbs and 50 sugars and im happy, good for you for taking this challenge

nice job . Keep that fat intake up and the cravings will be minimal . Eat bacon not sugar :-)

Give it a couple of days and the cravings will go away.

Takes me til the 5th day to completely kill the cravings when I've been into the sugar. Like Tamarah Jo said, eat bacon, not sugar :)

I added lemon to my water. Seems to help with the cravings. Maybe it will work for you too.

Thanks guys. I got stuck last time I went Keto with too many calories over-all and not dropping but about 8 pounds even though I was at 17carbs a day so I'm trying to be at least in that ballpark this time. I'll try the lemon. MMMM bacon. =)

Typical Atkins/Keto, you drop the carbs, but make up the calorie deficit with additional Protein....as over half the protein is converted to sugars, you're never really where you need to be. Keep those fats high...>65% total calories, while carbs are low, and you'll see results.
