Low carb is usually the best thing for me, but w. less body fat I get cold easier/all the time :(. It's only the beginning of Oct and I literally want to hibernate like a bear. I was really good with not thinking of carbs for the past couple of weeks or so, but lately all I can think of is pasta. I had some on Monday, but it was an awful day, so I had some b/c I wasn't in the mood to deny myself anything, and I enjoyed it in moderation. It was great to be at a restaurant, order an appetizer sized pasta, hardly put a dent in it and still feel satisfied. I haven't been formally following anything for the past couple of weeks, but I enjoy this new sense of calm over eating. I can eat what I want without bingeing, or over doing it. I had a sandwich on Monday too, and I never realized how salty the meats were. I ended up giving most of it to the dog. While I love to stick to certain programs and try new things now is just not that time for me, once my life gets a little bit in order I'll be able to do that, but part of me thinks its better to lose weight slower (lbs wise) while enjoying foods like normal people. I'm at the point where I can't feel bad when I eat 'bad' foods. If I want something that's not the greatest, I'm glad that I don't use that as an excuse to eat more 'bad' things, but also just become more active as well as cut back. I have been slacking on my SI6 workouts, but I'll b back on track today! :)

You have to have some of the things you really enjoy sometimes and I believe moderation is the key. I understand your comment about filling up faster. I have noticed that too. Now get back to that Slim in 6!
