Busy weekend ahead and some more challenges to face. I will have eaten out 3 times this week before my weigh-in on Monday -- twice this weekend. Some places are easier to make choices than others. Wednesday night, I went to O'Charley's and I have their menu figured out for eating within my program. Tonight, we're having Thai food and going to see Cirque du Soleil. I will do a bit more walking because we will be parking a few blocks from the venue and I have planned my mini-meals today to offset tonight. However, Sunday evening may turn out to be to the most difficult. I am going to a birthday party at a Japanese steakhouse. Dessert will not be the issue so much as I can pass that up ... however, the other goodies cooked on that grill will be interesting. I know I can eat part of it there and bring part of it home. Any other suggestions? Keep up the good fight!

Here's my horoscope for the weekend: "You may not have much but what you've got is good. And all resources are worthless if people don't value them and understand how to make best use of them. Here too, the cosmos confers an enormous advantage on you this weekend. You just have to trust that you know what you know and you know what to do. Even if the solution to a problem doesn't seem immediately obvious to you, the right way forward will reveal itself just at the moment when you most feel in greatest need of guidance." Big boost!

You might check out sushi. I'm not sure what your dietary goals are, but there's a lot of sushi with lean fish. Some Japanese places will grill vegetables. Why don't you look up their menu online before you go, so that you have time to do a little research? I always feel better if I go into a place knowing what my options are. Good luck!
