Time for a reboot.
I've managed to lose about 20 pounds since the beginning of February by counting calories and adding running 3-5 times per week to my already moderately active lifestyle.
In the last couple weeks, I've been trying to see if I can maintain my new weight without meticulously recording all of my calories. So far I've only gained back a couple pounds, but I'm noticing that I've taken advantage of my lack of accountability, especially in the post-dinner hours.
I'm worried about weight maintenance. My personality requires positive reinforcement, and the numbers going down on the scale fulfilled that need. I've decided I'd like to lose 5-10 more pounds and, more importantly, try to figure out how to maintain this range without feeling like a compulsive freak with the calorie counting all the time.
