For the dieter, there is no place worse than the grocery store. Everything looks and smells so good and everything is not available. I made my plans for next week, created my grocery list and went to the store. I have a firm rule: unless it is some household item that is not on the list, NOTHING except the listed items are purchased. MUY IMPORTANTE!!! I spent $172 and have enough food for two weeks, including perishables. Now the truly important thing to do is prepare things so they are at my fingertips. This week includes having a salad in the bowl for the ready all the time, pickling some cucumbers, cutting up watermelon, pineapple and cantaloupe, cutting up head of cauliflower, making broccoli slaw, and hard boiling some eggs.
My first weigh-in is Monday morning [because it makes me stay true to my diet plans throughout the weekend] ... hope it is a good one!!
