Fast day and it couldn't have come along any quicker! I do indulge on non-fast days and eat pretty much what I want, but NOTHING like the past two days. It has been a complete overeating and binge fest! My partner left for business abroad and I've totally indulged, think boredom and being a bit of a rebel! I feel horrible too, headachy and slightly ill. Anyhow, so looking forward to today! Whilst the boy's away I'm thinking I might restrict my daily calories too and calorie count on non-fast days. Just for this week. Think will cap calories to 1400 on non-fast days. Still deciding. Have a happy Sunday everyone! xx

Make it a habit to record every item you eat on your food diary everyday! You will be amazed at how you automatically start planning your foods to keep within that 1400 calories on non-fast days. Don't feel embarrassed if you consume too much and it makes your calories very high, it does not matter what people think. Take it one day at a time and use your food diary to see what you ate on a bad day so that you can make choices not to repeat that bad day :)

Thanks Big Boy. Think I'll manage 1400 cals per day whilst my other half is away and will definitely record my intake on FS. I don't want to do this permanently though as it would just be too restrictive for me and I'll end up binging and giving up. I would like to get to a point where I perhaps fast 2 days (i.e. 500 cals), do 2-3 days of 1400 cals only and another 2 days of 'whatever'!

Glen, I so reward myself after a fast day and often have a treat before a fast day! The theory or assumption is that one will usually not go over 110% of ones maintenance calories on non-fast days. I don't think I do, however past two days I definitely have! Fasting today went well again. I really enjoy fast days and find them easy and rewarding. Let's see what the scale says tomorrow. I doubt my weight is down. I'm expecting an increase... :( Still deciding to cap my calories this week, or not...the scale will decide for me in the morning. Night night.
