178.6 this morning ... back down a lb. I think it is the old PONG effect ... who remembers that Atari game????

The tooth pain has subsided some ... to a dull roar. Today I see the dentist and will make a plan to make it better I hope. At least it isn't throbbing quite as much as before ... sure makes you aware of your mouth!!!

The weather is supposed to cool off a bit today. I'm ready. It has been very warm here the past few days. Another busy day at work ... but working our way towards a three-day weekend. There is an event called "Pig Out in the Park" in Spokane, Washington (about 2 hours from us) this weekend. Hubby and I are going. It is exactly what it sounds like .... a plethora of food vendors!!! It will be my planned FEAST!! We went last year and had the most awesome Italian Sausage Sandwich I have ever eaten!!! It will be fun, and will shake up my metabolism, and well ... it will be TASTY!!!!

Have a decent Thursday my friends!! Another day, another dollar, another opportunity to SHINE!!! Take care.

Missed you! Have fun on your tasty weekend, sounds great! We will be camping and then a family reunion. Hope your tooth feels better, I can relate. I have 4 broken teeth from not done root canals. Ugh! Hard to eat the good stuff. Take care!!

The pain has "subsided to a dull roar" eh? LOL! Hang on and you should be all patched up by evening. Nice steady job on the scales. The "Pig Out in the Park" certainly sounds attractive to me as well. Other than the dentist, have a great day moose!

Oh yes, I remember Pong well! LOL. Good luck at the dentist's office. That festival sounds like MUCH FUN! Enjoy!

So the dentist says ... I need a crown (my share is $473.00!!!). Next appointment available wasn't until September 17th! He'll put a temporary on and we'll wait a bit to see if the tooth stops talking to me. If it continues to "talk" to me it means a root canal. If it settles down they'll put on the permanent crown. I'm not surprised. It is a tooth that is more filling than tooth and the fillings are old. Oh well ... at least I like the dentist!!

That's another reason I don't like to go to the dentist........costs an arm and a leg! I'm looking for a new dentist. Glad you got that visit OVER with! :-)

Glad you are getting yourself taken care of. I will "root" for the best outcome for you! OK shoot me for the dreadful pun!! LOL Hopefully the pain will subside!

I'd rather have rootbeer than a root canal!!! Tee hee!!

No reason to even think about the root canal when it most likely won't even be necessary.

You are a "better man than I am" to tackle the "pig-out-in-the-park" event. It does sound festive and colorful. Yes. I remember Atari. I have poor hand-eye coordination so the "graphics" on the Atari games are - were - about my speed! He-he-he-he-he! Take care of your "toofers."

Poet ... we are in sore need of some "fun" time, given the possible dire news, hanging over our heads. The good news about going somewhere else to "pigout" is that there are NO leftovers at home!!!

Your weekend sounds like much fun. Enjoy and so true about no leftovers. And good luck with that tooth.
