Feeling really good about my weight loss journey this time. I have added flaxseed and Chia seeds to my diet and now research how to best add coconut oil. I have heard some really great things about it. I already use it in my hair.

I put about 1.5 tbsp in a 23.7 oz bottle of water with one of those sugar free juice packs (grape crush), sometimes in my ceral, salad, in my eggs and yogurt....really just about anything. I perfer to have them whole. I use the Simple Truth Black Chia Seeds 12oz bag, sold at Smith's and Vons, Walmart have smaller bags for $.98.

Chia is also really good to add to a smoothie. It is filling with fiber, helping you stay full longer. Also helps keep you regular. ;-) If you want a smooth smoothie, add it at the beginning. If you want more texture in your smoothie (that's how I like it!), add it toward the end.

chia seed pudding yum!!!! I soak 1 tablespoon of them over night in one cup of sugar free almond milk - with a splash of vanilla or cinamon (or both) you can sweeten to taste with honey, agave, sugar or splenda - delicious!

I use flaxseed all the time. Didn't try the chia seeds yet. But I make "bread", crackers, muffins and more with flaxseed flour all the time. That fiber sure helps.
