2023 was a weird spring and early summer. My gains came as I worked through my youngest daughters graduation and college selection process, last season of high school softball ( where I also was a coach)and began to integrate into a somewhat new position at my company. There was a lot to worry about, I suppose. So I lost my focus on my diet and exercise. In some ways I feel better at this weight, a little stronger mostly. But aches and pains arise from little exercise or lifting and the side effects of a poor diet are common for me now. So it’s time to get back at it. The reality is that 10 pounds gained isn’t a huge number or unmanageable. I’ll stay at it one day at a time and embrace the process. I hope! 😀
