I just made the biggest, yet somehow, lowest calorie smoothie ever. AND it was amazing!
Frozen strawberries (8 for 31 calories), frozen blueberries (.3 cup for 21 calories) and 8 oz. of Trop50 with no pulp for 50 calories (I like Simply Orange better, of course, but you can't beat the calorie count of Trop50!). Frozen fruit is better for you than fresh fruit, plus it's better in a smoothie because it's super cold! Normally, I'd love a banana in there too, but unfortunately, a banana is like, 70 more calories. This blend made a giant cup's worth and my stomach is ready to burst... all for 102 calories total. I love it. I'm making one of these every day.
The 17-calorie apricots I'm downing 2-3 times a day along with this smoothie are definitely getting me all the daily fruit I need. Yum! Now to figure out the debacle of getting all the necessary veggies.......
