Gratitude continues to be a theme. Before my weigh in yesterday, I was expecting a 2-3 pound loss and lost 1.0. I was upset that it was not more. My nutritional counselor reminded me that I was unhappy when I didn't lose and now I'm unhappy that I didn't lose more. Further she reminded, I will be 50 soon and my body simply does not respond they way it did even 10 years ago to weight loss. She was right, of course. So today, as I am reminded of those who gave their lives for our freedom, I am grateful.
