Last week I lost more eight than expected - but I had the flu which cut my appetite. Resolution for next week: go jogging more often! I bought new runnng shoes and shorts so am now more motivated to run - hope it lasts!

Things to remember:

1 pound = 0,454 kg and 1kg = 2,205 pounds. apparently, 1 pound 'costs' 3600 calories, so 1 kg costs 7930 calories

So, to lose a kg a fortnight, or 7 months to goal weight, I need a minimum daily calorie deficit of 566 calories.
