Sushi for dinner last night. We also ended up at Baskin Robbins. Who would have thought that a taste treat made with frozen yogurt advertised as sugar free and fat free could end up with 1220 calories in it!! I about had a heart attack when I looked it up this morning!! Now, it was very, very, very tasty and it has been quite a while since I indulged in such a treat ... a 31 below ... sort of like a Dairy Queen blizzard!! Of course the Reeses Peanut Butter Cup in it must had added a lot of calories ... tasty!!!! So I guesstimated calories for the day and I sure did pack them in!! It was fun. I have no regrets. Life is good. I did 90 minutes on my elliptical this morning so it is simply back to daily routine! Oh yea, the scale went up 2.4 lbs from yesterday. Again, no worries ... getting back into my routine will bring it back down. Have a wonderful Sunday buddies!!!

LOL I had a similar thing happen to me the other day when I went to lunch at Uno's! They advertised a 'light and healthy' roasted veggie & feta wrap... come to find out one serving was only HALF the wrap! Had I known that before I ate both halves, it might've been light and healthy LOL! Turns out I'd have been better off just getting pizza! Sometimes you just can't win. :) Have a great Sunday! Glad you enjoyed your 31 below!

I hate those calorie-bomb sneak-attacks! But I'm glad you enjoyed it. And I'm sure you've aleady burned up most, if not all, of it. We passed a Baskin Robbins recently - and I reminisced about my favorite flavors from the past: Jamoca Almond Fudge + Pralines and Cream. YUM! Thanks for the support on my journal today - it means a lot! Enjoy this day! :)

Geeeeeez! That's a lot of calories. I had a salad not so long ago at O'Charly's like that. One thinks, "Salad equals healthy." That is soooooo not the case. Oh well. We live and learn. My mom always said eat anything you want - just in moderation. One third of a Blizzard might have worked - huh! Have a nice Sunday afternoon Woman!

I like that "calorie-bomb sneak-attacks"!! I remember Amy writing about a cookie she ate at Panera that was kind of like my 31 below!! So, I might choose something different next time I am at Baskin Robbins but honest to goodness ... no worries!! It was DELICIOUS!!! I figure it this way ... it gave my metabolism one heck of a shock if nothing else!! Indeed, live and learn ... what a trip this life is!!!

I've got my bead on a Dairy Queen Blizzard since I heard it mentioned here a short while ago. I've never had one of those, but used to love their Banana Splits. Is this all poison? ;-)

mbhpro, have you ever had Moosetracks ice cream? (no relation to madaboutmoose - I don't think). It's vanilla ice cream with fudge ribbons and little mini peanut butter cups. Mmmm. If you've never tried it - don't! You'll get hooked!
