I can't tell you how thrilled I was to see a lower number on the scale at TOPS last night. And I was the biggest loser with a loss of 2.75 lbs. (Don't go by what I post on FatSecret as sometimes that's my own scale.) I really hope I can get a grip now and keep going. To help me realize how much better I believe I could feel if I did certain things, I made a list so I'd have a visual and a reference point if I forget. I don't think I can do all of these things right now, but I can work towards them and add on as I go. I'll share the list in a future post.
Can't believe it's May already! I always love the first day of a new month, as I feel it's a chance to wipe the slate clean and start fresh. I love the first day of May because it is the start of a month of festivals and fun things to do here in the Upstate of South Carolina. Strawberry season has begun, and the farmers markets all open this weekend. There's the Artisphere festival, Greek Fest, the Strawberry Festival and more. I hope that my body will cooperate and let me enjoy some of these things relatively pain free.
